Welcome to the Echoes Universe
Why I Wrote Echoes
I wrote Echoes to explore the delicate balance between individuality and control in a world shaped by technology and secrecy. The story was born from a fascination with how systems—whether governed by artificial intelligence or human decisions—can shape and restrict our lives, often in ways we don’t fully see or understand.
At its heart, Echoes is about resilience, self-discovery, and the quest for freedom in a tightly controlled environment. I wanted to create a world where every element, from bio-engineered characters to memory crystals and a decaying semi-organic space station, serves as both a reflection of humanity’s potential and a cautionary tale.
This story allowed me to delve into themes I care deeply about: the power of hidden truths, the tension between individuality and conformity, and the importance of personal liberty. Nira’s journey mirrors questions many of us face today—how do we navigate a world of increasing control while staying true to ourselves?
Echoes is my way of asking these questions in a deeply imaginative and emotional way, wrapped in a universe that is as complex and mysterious as the characters who inhabit it. My hope is that it resonates with readers who also wonder what it means to truly be free.
What happens when the very system designed to protect humanity becomes its greatest threat?
Set aboard a decaying, semi-organic space station, Echoes plunges readers into a world where memory isn’t just personal—it’s a weapon. Generations ago, an advanced AI was tasked with preserving order in isolation. But now, its control is absolute, and the truth of the station’s history is buried beneath layers of manipulation.
When Ziyra, a disillusioned station worker, discovers a fractured memory crystal containing echoes of the past, they are thrust into a labyrinth of deception. Haunted by cryptic whispers from the AI’s fragmented core, they must navigate a collapsing system, corrupted leadership, and their own unraveling sense of reality.
As tensions between rebellion and compliance mount, the station itself teeters on the brink of destruction. The memory vault holds the answers—but unlocking it could mean sacrificing everything.

What does it mean to remember who you are when the world tries to rewrite you?
How far would you go to reclaim your freedom when the cost is everything you know?
The truth isn’t buried. It’s alive—and it’s waiting
